House rules
Dear Guests,
Our apartments are meant to be your home away from home. We want you to feel comfortable and be able to relax. We have put a lot of effort into furnishing them and hope you find everything you need. The house rules below are intended to help ensure a pleasant stay. We have also listed a few rules that we hope you will understand. By treating the apartment with care, you help us continue to offer you and other guests a pleasant place to stay.
General
If you find anything missing from the furnishings or if you need assistance, please feel free to contact us. All items located in the apartment, on the balcony, or on the terrace, or that belong to the property, may and should be used by guests. Please treat the entire property and its furnishings with care and treat the rental unit with respect. Please ensure that your fellow travelers also comply with the rental terms.
Kitchen
Please treat the kitchen furnishings and appliances with care. Since a dirty kitchen is unpleasant for everyone, please only put dishes, pots, and cutlery back in the cabinets when they are clean and dry. Please do not place hot pots or other hot items on the tables or countertops without using a trivet. Always use a cutting board when chopping. Please leave the inside of the oven clean.
Damage
No one damages things on purpose, but accidents can happen to anyone. We would appreciate it if you would report any damage so that we don’t discover it during the final cleaning after your departure. The tenant is liable for damages up to the cost of replacement.
Ventilation
To prevent mold growth, we ask that you ventilate the rooms sufficiently—at least once a day for 5–10 minutes, and especially after showering. Alternatively, please use our air conditioning.
Duty of Care
The front door should always be kept closed. Likewise, all windows must be closed when leaving the apartment to prevent potential damage from severe weather or break-ins. Water and electricity should be used sparingly. Do not throw or pour any waste, food scraps, hazardous liquids, or similar items into the kitchen sink, toilets, sinks, or shower! Avoid anything that could cause clogs in the pipes (do not flush hygiene products down the toilet).
Cleaning
Should any mishap occur (extreme dirt, liquids on the floor or countertops, etc.), please clean it up immediately.
Since we handle the cleaning ourselves at no cost, we appreciate a little help with tasks such as taking out the trash or making the beds.
Quiet Hours
In the spirit of good neighborliness, we ask that you observe public quiet hours, such as midday, nighttime, and Sunday quiet hours. Out of consideration for others, please also keep the apartment quiet between 10:00 PM and 7:00 AM.
Wi-Fi
Use of the internet with your own Wi-Fi-enabled device (laptop, PDA, smartphone, etc.) via the Wi-Fi connection is free of charge for the tenant. You use the internet at your own risk; the landlord disclaims all liability in connection with the tenant’s use of the internet. The Wi-Fi usage rules must also be observed when using the internet via Wi-Fi.
Smoking
Smoking is not permitted inside the apartment; please use the apartment’s terrace, balcony, or loggia for this purpose.
Pets
Pets are not permitted.
Right of Access
In the event of repairs requiring immediate attention, it may be necessary for the landlord to enter the apartment without the guest’s knowledge.
Keys
Please never let the keys out of your possession. Loss of the keys must be reported immediately, and the guest is liable for the cost of replacement.
Liability
The landlord is not liable for the guest’s valuables.
Check-in and Check-out
Check-in is from 4:00 PM or by arrangement.
On the day of departure, we ask our guests to vacate the apartment by 11:00 a.m. at the latest.
Upon your departure, the apartment should be left in the same condition as you found it.
By booking the apartment, we assume that you accept these house rules.
